I wonder if anyone's written a story about the sociological fallout from major cities and historical landmarks getting pulverized by kaiju every couple years. I feel like it would fundamentally alter people in so many ways.

Well now I'm interested in this as well. And my mind immediately went to what society would be like if humans and kaiju learned to live together--generations after the classic battles still occurred.
