<one of them. No doubt...with Kim's win the GOP lost their only chance to try to pick off a Senate seat. The machines will sit on their hands, but frankly even a lot of their people (mostly employees of towns and counties) are getting interested in Kim.

the terms conservative/liberal don't work for today's politics - I think paling with the Kushners, if we accept that the shot was not a onsey puts here in outerspace extreme no where near normal democrats. But yes on positions, she was liberal. I didn't think she'd fight hard tho.

In the end, this is what did it. This was the visceral thing for most. And the tone-deaf picture with the Kushners. I think this was stronger than the line argument.

I don't think that happens, but the big COs will starve Andy Kim of fundraising and make him win it - which is probably OK since the fight has generated a lot of publicity and small donors for him.

Most traditional american jobs just don’t exist anymore. No longer can I build a giant object in my yard and charge people to see it. I am not allowed to descend a waterfall in a barrel for a hefty fee. My wagon full of questionable handmade potions has been sanctioned and seized by law enforcement.

And what won't happen that would happen if this happened on the left is a FLOOD of stories about how pervasive making up stories is. This will be a onesy and the press will move on. While Britt's national career is over now, she's in AL so she'll still be around as a Senator for a while.

Horatio Seymour, said twice to the 1868 Democratic convention he was chairing, not to nominate him, in the strongest voice. I MUST NOT BE PRESIDENT. The convention essentially said "too bad." We "do not accept his declination" the state of Ohio delegation said, and the others followed.

Gosh to have 2014 as the 'before picture' I thought Austin had grown in 2008 from my last visit in 1994 when it was two-story mostly. Now it looks like a mega city.

Chicken pox was routine in my time (I was pre-vaccine for that one) but at the same time, a nightmare I wouldn't want to wish on anyone. Still can't believe I went through it. That I have to get shingles vac now demonstrates its still impacting.

That one is coming back as soon as the Court changes, but it may be a wait. The "well-regulated" thing also gets me. Yes 18th Cent it meant "good working order" OK then - how do you keep a body of men in good working order? Letting them them do whatever they want, the Judge says.

At least with Scalia there were a few pretty intense criminal defense rights cases - against pot-sniffing dogs, infrared search of property, child witness, flag-burning. These guys, not so much. Gorsuch might get funky on a few things, but they are his choices.

Once Scalia died, any kind of originalism went. None of them would go as far as him on defense or 4th amendment cases. They use the other concepts in a sprinkling, they'll even make fun of Gorsuch sort of when he's too textualist. When they don't want to argue they keep it short.

They won't go the office route. they'll do "states." I'd also add - they'll cite the rights of voters in CO. Roberts language "Today we conclude the voter must have the choice, even if that choice may be misguided."

I think pharma pays more volume of employees than other high-paying industries, and where it exists, localities are better off. Not true of every industry.

A very simple mistake they make (I have a market research background) is confusing revenues and profits. So they see billions of dollars and don't realize a chunk of it, probably 80% is going to scores of thousands of employees families. Well paid employees in some cases, some cases not.

For me, for trust purposes, I generally want to hear their arguments. When it's too much of I don't like this person, or they are evil, or the "corporations" they are losing me fast, and are one step away from pizzagates.

I've seen it. If it's all about 'the corporate types' you aren't going to come back to Hillary Clinton in a general election. Plus orange was exploiting it 'Oh it's rigged, oh Bernie was treated so bad' meanwhile if he ran against him he'd call him Mr Venezuela.

I'm all for blaming Ronnie Reagan for stuff, but on this one - I mean whose going to make a product that goes to all people including healthy if anyone can sue. Generally vaccines are high revenue/low-profit. At least the old egg-based ones are.

And a definite lack of understanding of the dual mechanism of vaccine + "EVERYBODY TAKING vaccine" to eliminate disease. They think the measles vaccine works because they took the vaccine. It mostly does.

They (from my battles on Yahoo and YouTube comments) do not. But if a medical 'fact' [usually misinterpreted immunological science - say lost immunity] or a single doctor "Dr Smith a former nephrologist at Duke" supports their conclusions, all of a sudden medical science is GOD.
