Political intrigues plague feudal Japan during a small period of peace. A slow burn story, full of outstanding performances and an incredibly behind the scenes production.

Shōgun is 2024 best drama.

A friends lives there. She tells me some jobs that require to be in the outside are done during the night now because of the heat. That's wild to me. I don't understand how anyone can read news like that and still think climate change it's not real.

General Mizoguchi had the last laugh by asking young Toranaga to assist him in the seppuku. Sure, the kid defeated his army with strategy but he couldn't properly perform the most basic ritual after. Mizoguchi taught Toranaga a lesson by humbled him with his death. #Shogun

I am currently watching #Shogun.

Anjin, aka the white man in the story, decided to try natto. The reaction Mariko and Fuji gave, it was so subtle but also so on point.

Sure. Costumes, make up, hair, location, sets are incredible. But *this* was the most Japanese thing I have seen in the show.

According to my doctor, my back injury will prevent me from working for the next month or so. Absolute bed rest was the order. We all agree I’m too young to be dealing with this but this is the result of not taking care of yourself properly. Lesson learned. To be better now.

#TheAcolyte episode 6: at first glance this could be understood as a filler but this is a much needed break from the action. After all, there are a lot of unanswered questions and doubts related to the origins of Mae and Osha. Another great hour.

I don’t like this judge. I don’t like the way he’s talking, looking or breathing. This judge is a condescending idiot.

I can’t wait for this film to either, prove me right and him having to shut the hell up. Or, even better, wrong and me come around about him.

Good morning. Woke up every 2 hours in pain through the night, I can’t lay down or sit. The only way it’s to stand up and that means, I can’t sleep at all. I just want to feel better.

Thank you. I am feeling better now but the pain comes and goes. Especially when I get out of bed in the morning. I started kinesiology sessions today but there’s really nothing else I can do but wait for the inflammation to go down. Later some recovery exercises and then swimming, Pilates or yoga.

Ended up in the ER yesterday after a week of doctors misdiagnosing how much pain I was feeling on my left leg. Turns out I have a herniated disk. It feels like a screwdriver is stabbing my thigh and someone is sawing my ankle. It’s the worst pain I have ever felt and I don’t wish it upon anyone.
