yes: i do not use the term internment anymore unless i am citing a usage by the detaining powers. it is a sanitizing euphemism deployed by the US state and its allied interests

Americans should know that the same was done to the entire Japanese Canadian community. My parents, grandparents, and all of my uncles and aunts were put in prison camps. 20,000 people, 75% of whom were Canadian-born, like my parents.
