No but the people floating Biden resign so Harris can be an incumbent going into the election but fails to note there is absolutely no way the house would confirm a new VP putting Johnson one step from the presidency.

I got a workaround, from Art.II s.3 [...] he may, on extraordinary Occasions, convene both Houses, or either of them, and in Case of Disagreement between them, with Respect to the Time of Adjournment, he may adjourn them to such Time as he shall think proper [...] ...but it's a legit point.
