When a government body shows itself to be corrupt and illegitimate, anyone who continues to protect them from any remedies can be viewed as complicit in the attack on democracy. Looking at you Schumer and Durbin.

it's still absurd to me that the rule of law is just "yeah, the president nominates them" and not some kind of method for both parties appointing justices to ensure that it can't be hijacked it's almost like a bunch of old white guys from 300 years ago didn't know the best way to do things
