The government is enabling and subsidizing data center expansion under the guise that it will use green energy. This growth of green energy needs to be put toward all industry and human life and not just these giant data surveillance and aggregation buildings

Further as shown they are never really entirely dependent on just green energy and fossil fuels / coal are frequently filling in the gaps. Not to mention their water use in such a critical moment. We don’t have time for this
