Yes the media grabbed it. It still happened for them to grab. Biden was still largely disliked and viewed as old before this happened. People were already primed to be receptive to the current narrative because most voters were already concerned. This didn’t pop out of outer space.

Do I think the media is being impartial? No. I think every business is motivated by profit. Do I think that means Biden is winning in the polls and nothing is his campaign or his fault? Also no. That would be a stupid view of power. His performance still influenced things.

Unfortunately there is no impartial data production and the media reporting it is also not impartial but we don’t have much of a choice. The race is close at the very least and that is bad. And unnecessary.
