Reminder: Trump pardoned literal war criminals. One's actions were so bad that some of his fellow SEALs testified against him, which pretty much never happens. And Fox News then treated the pardoned criminals as heroes. Thinking this every time I see "but the military won't follow illegal orders."

I feel like we’re heading into a time in which federal agencies will be much more like the ‘Constitutional Sheriff’ loonies in which they are going to decide one by one whether or not they think orders or laws from Democrats are to be followed

"The military" won't. Individuals in the military may. The problem is making sure those folks can't join or are put out of service. Both General Milley and General Brown have given pretty regular guidance on the military's obligation to follow only lawful orders.
