Great piece by @selimkoru.bsky.social. The issues he deals with - being a Millennial Muslim and struggling with issues of identity, faith, lifestyle, etc., really reminded me of issues examined in the series Ramy, about an Egyptian-American family.

When I was younger I also thought a lot about morality, a sense of purpose, and the meaning of life, but the difference is, for me those things had absolutely nothing to do with religion. I searched for those answers through literature, philosophy, psychology, travel, and long conversations.
