It's a win on paper, except a huge chunk of those renewables aren't environment friendly either. Solar panels are the closest to being that. Wind turbines are hell for anyone living anywhere close to them and water power plants need to be limited in number to avoid destroying the eco system

Just heating, transport, industry etc to go. Typically electricity is around 25% or less of total energy consumption. So renewable's will be about 12%. There is a hell of a long way to go.
