Completed the Thousand Year Door remake overnight as I got in to the final chapter and couldn't put it down, was just as epic and more awesome than the first time around. Highly recommend. <3

That wasn't my intent but I guess I can see the similarity! I wanted to replicate a design I've done in a few places on some spirit themed things I've done. With it implying a few different possible things, branches of a tree, energy and water flows, interconnectedness, etc ^^

For the longest time Blender had a very poor UX too that pit people off. Then with v2.8, they stopped listening to their diehard users and did a big UI refresh, and their adoption rate by new users through flew the roof.

This is probably part of why everyone on bluesky is 38 years old: 38 year olds are basically the only people who consider it totally normal to flee a sinking ship and then just casually resume the conversation on the tropical island they end up on. They've outlived dozens of ships.

There's normally one 'fallback' classic till at the front too, but normally these things are mean the staff are freed up to do other work. So staff that would have been taking orders are now focused on fulfilling orders. If someone needs to use the till, one of the fulfillers steps away to do it.

This idea could have been improved hugely by adding some humanity back to it and having an AI listen in and issuing an automatic 'take a break, we'll let your boss know you need it' or that it would page an onsite wellbeing officer to check in on them and see if they needed to talk. :|

Yeah. Reading up, it seems to be entirely written for big businesses and no 'don't worry about it' exceptions for those with negligible amounts that most of these laws tend to have because small amounts aren't the problem. I wonder if one could bypass it by making entirely unrecyclable packaging. XP

Every single McDonald's in the UK inside has touch screens for ordering now with customisation options. But I'm guessing the fact it might be hard to reach out of your car to use + weather proofing is the only reason they don't have them outside as well.

That wasn't the case, they just had a few issues where their upstream providers dropped the ball a few times when the system tried to scale. The VRC and Furality ops teams apparently work very closely these days to try and keep things smooth.

It's been my thing here, only side effect has been some increased BP which was mitigated with BP meds. Watch out for short temper during the on boarding phase which can last a couple of weeks.
