Definitely feel this as well :/ ultimately I can't force people to move, but it does suck to lose contact with people that are set on using Twitter. I held out for a while, but I ran out of patience to deal with a service that was actively resentful towards me

I waited till Dorsey to fuck off entirely (I know he was distant but the threat was there) before considering coming here because Dorsey was turning Twitter into a haven for nazis and cryptobros well before Elon (thus why he came crawling back to twitter). There's no reason to hold out anymore.

I only use it for my spicy account these days and main is essential abandoned but I was looking for something on main and accidentally swapped to the algo tab and it feels exactly like sticking your arm shoulder deep into a portaloo
