Here is my optimism for the day: despite everything rotten in higher education, the students are proving right now that the project is worth it. They are validating the core value of the university even as they expose institutional bankruptcy. These students have *learned.*

This minority of students who are intimidating others and impeding their fellow students from their right to learn are also learning that if you break the law you had better be prepared for the consequences. Peaceful protest is great - intimidating others and supporting terror is not.

It's not just students! the faculty are also in in these protests along with a lot of progressive people including progressive politicians. The tides are turning and the times are changing, but we need to keep hope for a better world alive.
