I understand your points. Bottom line is neither Clinton or Obama were willing to fight for protecting women. Will Biden or Harris? Or is their rhetoric just more political hot air? PS - Obamacare was a gift to the health insurance industry because there was no public option.

Yes, it most certainly is true. Both had the House and Senate and could have pushed for it IF it were a priority; they did not. Facts matter. Between 1993 and 1995, Clinton had both House and Senate; between 2009 and 2011, Obama did. www.spokesman.com/stories/2020...

Biden (and Obama), as leader of the Democrats have had multiple opportunities to codify Roe v Wade; they did not. Why? Because they lack political courage AND we gave them our vote anyway. POTUS is the leader of the party he represents; your unwillingness to see that is part of the problem.

Shoving a deeply unpopular candidate down the throats of those of us who actually care about democracy is the most undemocratic thing to do. The Democrats are as responsible for the destruction of our democracy as the Republicans by not allowing a robust primary of a deeply unpopular incumbent.

Obamacare was supposed to end denial of insurance coverage for pre-existing conditions. But in 46 states, if you select Medicare Advantage at age 65, you can be denied coverage if you try to switch out. Matthew Cunningham-Cook has that story:
