This the first 4th of July for my Siamese & I'm not looking forward to it. He didn't like the very loud parade we had close to Christmas & I spent a lot of time assuring him he was safe. We don't have a fireworks display, we do have people who do it illegally so I can't even know when to start prep

I despise fireworks. Aside from scaring pets they also cause wildlife deaths in a variety of ways, pollute the air, terrorize people with PTSD, and they're a wildfire risk. Selfish, repulsive tradition.
