I would also add that you should not leave your cat alone in the home with screened windows open. I have heard way too many stories about terrified cats busting or clawing through screens and getting lost while experiencing fireworks distress. If you must leave them make sure they are secure!

7. It's probably too late to get medications now if you don't already have them, but if your cat experiences stress during fireworks don't forget to inquire about it during their next visit so you can be prepared in the future! 💥

5. Engage them in play if they're into it! It can be a good distraction and tire them out. 6. If your cat is hiding, it's probably best to leave them alone or just speak to them in a soft voice. Don't drag them out to "comfort" them - it may have the opposite effect.

2. Provide lots of hiding places like boxes, clamshell or cave style beds, cat tree cubbies, etc. 3. Consider making a quiet room, i.e. put their food, water, litter, bedding, toys, etc. in one closed room - especially if you're having a party. 4. Implement buffer noises such as fans and soft music.

For every loud jerk bird watcher I run into I know there are thousands peacefully minding their own business and advocating for wild spaces in peaceful, rational ways. Judging all of them by the aggressive weirdos would be a very silly mistake leading to escalating anger and aggression.

I regularly get rude comments from bird watchers and keyboard environmentalists telling me that cats are nasty, diseased creatures and to keep mine indoors (even though my cats are 100% indoor and always have been). Does that mean I think all bird watchers and environmentalists are rude and hostile?

I've seen people say Elden Ring is harder than the other Souls games, but if you run across a boss you can't beat you can move pretty freely around the map and level up as much as you want. If you don't mind grinding for XP like that you can get yourself overpowered for any fight!

I played Elden Ring and did every boss fight - including hard optionals like Malenia, Dragonlord Placidusax, Mohg, etc. - but it's sounds like it's harder than any of those.

Honestly I don’t find it difficult to tell AI from real, but if someone is unsure it’s probably better to do a reverse image search or just keep quiet rather than causing drama making baseless accusations.

"Racial ambiguity" is something I struggle with since a) b&w photography can make it even harder to discern skin tone and b) most of the images I post are of people who are anonymous so I have no way to try to confirm their racial heritage. I just do my best to be mindful and respectful. ☹️
