One pet peeve of mine is when people say “well it was just one bad debate”. Please don’t make me feel like I’ve been taking crazy pills, I’ve seen near every debate for decades now and that was the worst performance I can remember, only other one I can think of is VP debate Adm. Stockdale

Also, most of his sightings after the debate have been scripted and tightly controlled, which doesn't do much to inspire confidence. I've been looking in numerous publications for pushback to the concerns and have not really seen any except from the inner circle.

Yes! This. And we’ve seen *biden* debate for literal decades. The other thing I hate is when people say “he had a cold” or, even worse, “how dare you, he has a stammer.” The man has been around long enough that we’ve seen him speak with a cold, and the stammer is not new!
