Surprising, as pretty much every time I summon in the Elden Ring DLC I get at least 6 summon signs. Maybe it's a level match issue? My character is 168, though I started the DLC at around 135 or so and got similar summon sign piles. In DS, things were much more brutal, like you experienced

I mostly summoned to fight Radahn. I was stuck. Tried for like an hour before giving up and doing something else. Tried it for the Gargoyles in ER too. Could never find a summon sign and if I did they'd disappear instantly. Spirit Ashes allowed me to finally try this summon thing
