According to the headlines, the far right is resurgent in Europe and centrists are on the run. Watch out Joe Biden! But that’s not nearly the whole picture. There is a through line to recent election results, just not one the media broadly paints. My piece in the replies.

My take on who wins this fall comes from 40 years ago. Though my readings indicate that many issues are different from the time of Reagan. Short version, in 1980/84 there was Democrats for Reagan. A block of voters unsatisfied with Jimmy Carter, and later Mondale, who also put Reagan over the top.
