Dads finally settled in a rest home. He’s complaining that the people here are all in the older age group and don’t have a lot of go in them 😂 …. And you can’t even have grog here! He used to like a drink but hasn’t done for many years now.

Mum was similar about not wanting to be lumped in with the oldies. Getting better care has made a world of difference for her though and I only wish we could have persuaded her a few years earlier.
