Most PT advocates don't agree. Improving service better than it being free. One bus/hour is no good to most even if it free. Instead provide good service and offer discounts to those where cost is a problem

Why would I fight you? This is the exact correct conclusion. I was going to say maybe exclude peak time—but during peak traffic time mass transit is even more important. It'd make the country so much more productive.
