Yup, we have to stop the vandals, and the only way to do it is to hold them to account.
But that shouldn't be Starmer.
It needs to be independent.
But yes, he should not stand in the way of legal consequences. 🤞

A careful strategy is needed to sell this sensible plan and the return to policies informed by research not populism.

His electorate adores him.
When he's out and about people to stop him every few minutes to thank him. Because he does the work and nobody is too insignificant to help. It's crazy.
But big money did not like him. And so here we are.

And a lot of the left organisers.
England's voted for a RW govt and they don't even know it.

Snowden did something good and at great personal cost.
But:
1) he's been in Russia a long time, so he does not see what we see.
2) Being a good guy, or doing a single good act, does not make a person infallible

We're losing at least $25/week thanks to this government, so that $10 doesn't cut it.
But even if we did have a $10 gain, losing needed public service jobs. Risking our agriculture and environment, stopping public housing builds...definitely not worth it.

You might've seen the fabricated 'study' that's doing the rounds this week, claiming that most EV drivers are all desperate to go back to slower, more expensive combustion cars, being tied to the pump. 😂LOL yeah right.
Well, here's an actual study done on actual drivers.

When folks argue that a Universal Basic Income would deter working, think about those million-dollar CEOs. If a modest $15k is enough to make one quit working, wouldn’t multi-million dollar packages make CEOs practically comatose? Yet, here they are, still CEOing. Weird isn't it?

So how do we stand up and make a government take notice? Writing to your MP? I mean… It’s nice when they reply but it feels ineffectual. Mass mobilisation? Cool story bro, but unlikely. No revolts please, we’re British.
How do we become the prick it’s hard to kick against? I’ve no idea. -11

Yup, if voting was irrelevant Republicans wouldn't be working so hard to stop people from voting.
Whole thing is crazy.
Like I get being pissy at the US Democrats, but it's as pointless as being angry at Gran for falling for a scam while giving the thieves a free pass.

Go check political compass. You'll find the current UK Labour Party is a right wing party.
Most people haven't noticed the shift because the right has careened far right fascist.

Very hard to prove, but I suspect if the law happened it'd definitely help.
That and no political donations over a day's minimum wage earnings.
Might not shut down the corruption, but should up minimum wage!
