I’m not trying to dunk on you, but that’s in fact not true. Biden picks his running mate, which doesn’t have to be her, if he’s nominated. Mike Pence will not be Trump’s running mate. Had Bernie beaten Biden, she wouldn’t take over. She hasn’t been elected to anything for 2024.

Sure, but that's not what is being proposed. If Biden says he's not going to run he would be expected to endorse his vice president. I mean, if he literally stepped down then she'd be in the seat.
