I have a pond too. There are only 2-3 frogs but boy are they loud. Nobody has complained as far as I know, but I can always argue that it’s part of what you should expect in the country (like cockerels and church bells). And we’re supposed to be protecting biodiversity

I normally love every single 'country' noise (after so long in Switzerland with goats and cows... and bells... right next door). So I'd never complain. I just wanted to talk to rather deaf Mr K and the pigeon was seriously not helping! Really not the '!incoming townie' type
