the Lamy also uses non-waterproof ink cartridges (or at least that's what i got), which adds another constraint: you have to paint the tones first and draw on top of that, else you'll smear the ink lines. gives it a very loose feeling

Interesting that you mentioned that. My wife uses fountain pens in drawing, including a Lady, but she loads it with a special water-proof ink. Equipment talk aside, these look very nice. And yes there's a looseness to the lines that I find quite appealing.
