the Lamy also uses non-waterproof ink cartridges (or at least that's what i got), which adds another constraint: you have to paint the tones first and draw on top of that, else you'll smear the ink lines. gives it a very loose feeling

these are from some years back - I stopped working in ink, mostly, because making comics entirely in gouache was a lot easier. but a pen makes you draw in a certain way, which can be fun to play with
