When I was a wee lad, my school had a payphone in the hallway. Used if you needed to call your parents or something. But for some reason it was configured so it would call the number first and then it would check if any money had been inserted. It did not last long...

My depression never really goes away, but how bad it is comes in waves. I often try to find seemingly unrelated behavior that is different depending on how bad it is. One I noticed a while ago is how many books I read. If it's bad, I don't read any, otherwise I plow through them.

Many movies are not filmed in scene order, usually due to scheduling and logistical constraints. Which can make things confusing for the actors. I wonder if that helped with the filming of Memento.
