It feels so good to be more excited about thinking of art ideas and for when my body allows me to do it in a long time. Part of it is my CPTSD work, but a lot is being here--having an art community that feels much like the pre algorithm days on social media really rekindles an old love for it. 💙

It feels a lot more accepting too. I don't feel like I'll be judged for what I make, and being a queer, kinky and disabled artist, unlike other places I've felt like *something* will get me negative attention. So far it's been very friendly here and I'm enjoying it a lot!

i can't EXPRESS how much good bsky has done for my excitement for art :) I had a big breakdown in 2022 and stopped doing art for a whole year. I was already recovering fairly well by the time i joined last octoberish, but I've never felt soooo artistically inspired and nourished by a community
