If you have a podcast: What do you use to host it? I think I might get a lapel mic for YouTube. Is that a silly idea for a podcast that might eventually have a guest, or for podcasting in general? Any guides you recommend to the process?

My personal thoughts are… Host on your own domain if possible. WordPress is good enough for a podcast platform. You can syndicate the feeds yo iTunes and Spotify. Your laptop's mic is probably good enough to start with. A lapel mic is cheap but, yeah, bigger USB mic if you have multiple people.
