seeing as all the journos are here now, how the hell do you organise your research and writing? are you pasting it all into one big doc? complicated set ups with zotero and other pkm things? pure vibes? scrivener? my way is upsetting me, would appreciate tips. repost please and thanks!

I dislike Zettelkasten because I get too caught in the weeds of the methodology, I've read about it and tried it a bunch and it does not work for me sadly.

Does anyone organise their notes in a way they've been taught but that isn't zettelkasten, PARA (or second brain), CODE or LYT? I think dumping everything I want to read and include into my writing into one massive page in my note taking app while writing is probably non-optimal lol?

If you have a podcast: What do you use to host it? I think I might get a lapel mic for YouTube. Is that a silly idea for a podcast that might eventually have a guest, or for podcasting in general? Any guides you recommend to the process?

I think I'm a bit confused by the timelines. I would have assumed the first cables would be more quickly decommisioned and they apparently last around 25 years. If it wasn't to do with money/geopolitics or literal geography i'd have thought more would exist by now in some places?

Does anyone know how many undersea internet cables are connected to each country? So far I'm getting US ad UK have the most but it's old data and there are around 600, but ideally I want to know how it's divided up. 1/2
