The irony is that the US government’s unwillingness to apply the Leahy law to Israel, even when an American citizen is killed, only drives the narrative that “The Jews control America”. Which then drives global anti semitism and isolates Israel.

I disagree. That narrative about Jewish control is simply a bigoted one and is primarily driven by bigots. I think the Zionist movement purposefully conflates opposition to Israeli apartheid with antisemitism all the time but it's incumbent upon those opposes to make clear that this is not true.

Idk, if your takeaway from the unwillingness to apply the Leahy law is “America is controlled by the Jews” and not “America is morally bankrupt in its inconsistency in applying intl. law and this is unacceptable” that’s on you 🤷🏼♂️
