I almost did a facial plastics residency so I could be that surgeon, it’s such an important way to deeply change someone’s life for the better but now it’s a political cudgel for the worst people in the world, and so many hapless souls just float along. It’s painful to watch

Like Merritt mentioned the bud lite girl — the only time I’ve gotten really worked up in the OR was when the nurse I work with, who is generally a lovely person, bought into the bud lite culture wars bullshit because that’s what she’s exposed to. I don’t yell in the OR but I went off on her for that
