We are not doomed, but we have moved to an increasingly accute crisis and I'm not wholly certain how, as an extremely regular ass civilian, what actions I can and should take. The court has gone off the rails and our democracy is on life support. So what is a person to do?

Every community has groups you can join, depending on what causes interest you most. You can also volunteer to do voter outreach from home, I know they are “cringe” and overly earnest but VSA has been cranking out volunteers by the tens of thousands
