If you confirm you're Irish it pretends to play the game normally while wiping your disk in the background and tries to set CPU voltage to max.

With that immunity, you could even go further with crimes against humanity and make next upload on Youtube: "Let's PLAY Legend of Zelda 8K 21:9 120fps (shadow legends promo)" and make it look like this:

I'm really happy that it's not a nuisance ๐ I have no idea why trains feel so cool. Maybe it's nostalgia for enjoying traveling itself and a call to adventure๐ That guy told me that for first months he could feel the rumbling in his body, lying in bed at 3 AM ๐ฎ Fortunately he got used to this.

I always wondered if living nearby a railroad was annoying in how much you feel it rather than hear it. I talked with a guy that lived ~1300ft away and it was bad, but the house was build from thick (10"+ walls) calcium-silicate blocks and had huge foundations, so maybe it's matter of materials used

The only Linux with a good UI is Android. They're good for servers and network devices (single purpose things). Win11 is the next Vista (just skip it). Window Sever is an insane choice for most purposes, but good to keep lots of IT staff employed.

I strongly support this attitude regardless how good at tech you are. These are all just tools. I don't care what brand my hammer is as long as it gets the job done quickly, intuitively and reliably.

Remember when granny got a little older and talked back to the TV?
You can now be just like her and chit chat with soulless AI bot like it's a person. Remember to ask how things are back at home, complain about the weather and if it saw the game last night.

Sad to say, but useful IT tech peaked in early 00s and we just now have slow, iterative feature improvements that don't amount to a lot. We are still far away from industry collapse as a thought that new tech isn't really useful hasn't even entered collective consciousness due to high tech turnover.

The only safe and well paid jobs are either in snake oil sales (tech vendors be it cloud, AI, Big Data or whatever useless thing you want to push) or snake oil support (support of the broken products). Any top management will buy into anything that looks good on sales pitch with enough buzzwords.

Big Data 2: AI boogaloo
Pretty good take on tech trends and how the only profiteers are the tech companies. AI will create even more silly jobs as everything will be a hassle to keep running.
The person paying for the new gimmick is you.

I love the verbless approach (left click interacts, right click opens inventory) and nesting items (cigarette pack shows you it contains foil and matches if you hover over it in inventory). Very modern for 1993 and the 1994 CD version is almost fully voiced. Still playable in 2024.

The diverse cast was really fun part (although from 2024 eyes some stuff may seem problematic). It was advertised as the first FMV game, but that shouldn't be its claim to fame. IRL locations were really cool, although mixed with 3D rendered and drawn ones.

I finished the Lost In Time DOS game and have to say it has lots of modern concepts. Puzzles are ok(still, walkthrough recommended) and it's very well made. CD version is pretty good. Story is silly and just a vehicle for puzzles.

I built one myself back in the day, because it had a better sound that PC speaker, but still wasn't anything to write home about. There were a lot of improved designs, but what Covox usually was is bunch of resistors and it loaded CPU like crazy (no DMA).
