oh lord, yeah it is really worrying, the govt has created a housing crisis, the migrant crisis is a separate issue, but the fash are skilled at conflating the two... meanwhile the papers are full of stories of rapes and assaults carried out by white Irish men, but they get very little traction.

No I totally get it, the housing crisis is real & fucking stupid & I can see how ‘more ppl are coming’ can get conflated by folks not paying attention. One of my friends did find ppl are shocked into at least speaking more carefully when reminded that the population is still less than pre-Famine.
