I am interested to learn that the anti-migrant, anti-homeless fencing on the Canal was installed by Waterways Ireland, not DCC or the Government. They can be directly contacted here:

Thank you for posting this. I live right on the canal and used to enjoy walking along that path regularly. I would much prefer to see tents outside of my apartment than a fucking prison. I will be contacting Waterways today!
