You’re almost always better off buying one new (if possible).The used market for Nintendo isn’t usually all that discounted from new and of course if you do find one on the cheaper side the likelihood of getting a defective switch is high.

There’s an episode of American Dad where Roger feels sickness coming on. They ask if he’s sick and he says no but that he’s going to be sick and spends a week prepping for said sickness. This is how migraines approach me sometimes…it’s not there yet but…it’s coming. I hope it doesn’t get you.

I felt this way for a long time. And then Elden Ring. I avoided it for a long time for fear of its “legendary” difficulty. I wondered the same, “why would a developer do this?” Then it turned out to be the best game I’ve ever played and I began respect them protecting their vision at a real cost.
