We are planning on camping out in the living room because the only good place for our portable ac unit in our new place is in there, but luckily we have a pullout sofa. Good luck in the heatwave!

You too! If it doesn't work we can always set something up in the basement. It's only a few days (compared to the more than 100 we had last summer in Austin) but I'm kind of paranoid!
