honestly if I lived in poly housing and somebody just showed up to do the dishes I might very carefully avoid asking any questions that could get in the way of that continuing

Ive always assumed that there's some sort of project-manager like person that naturally arises if the household trips over threshold and that person must be turning a blind eye.
