Let me try to put my cards on the table and lay out where I'm at re: Biden bowing out and the race in general.
#1: I am bewildered by how many different factions are hostile to Biden and how bad the polls have been. In my view, he's a pretty good president (certainly better than I expected).

To be clear, my prior take here is that I need the insiders forecasting doom to put up or shut up, so the interview could not possibly move it one way or another, because despite being a public speaking nerd I think being extemporaneously snappy is overrated!

Also this article does some ridiculous sleight of hand to cast doubt on all of fintech when it is in fact a specific company, not used by everyone, that has failed.

On BlueSky, deep in a thread no one else is reading, by default settings in fact invisible on the feed, when you can't even state you vote for the obvious credibility boost.
Great help for the cause you are.

I am or at least was a good public speaker. If you put a microphone in my hands I'm suddenly incompetent.
None of this is a good sign of cognitive ability.

Arguably the hardest is actually half on script half off. You can easily lose your place.

Reading off of a script is easier than speaking extemporaneously but it's still hard! And some people who get gud at speaking extemporaneously can't read off a script well.

Also I love how we keep trying to work the refs while we are on BlueSky, the social media site lacking said refs.
