Heller and Bruen are bad decisions but at least with this decision we can be optimistic that SCOTUS won’t go much crazier with the gun decisions like overturning bans on assault weapons etc.

With a choice between a stable democracy with slightly higher tax rates and regulations versus authoritarianism with tax cuts, etc, of course they will choose the latter. Also rounding up thousands of undocumented workers who sustain multiple industries will lead to a recession.
