The horror stuff is really well done this season, I just don’t like watching grim cops. I thought McConaughey’s performance in season one transcended the grim cop genre but nothing about it has for me since.

When I reserved an electric car from Hertz, they said I’d have to wait two hours unless I rented a Mustang at the desk. It was weird showing up to my uncle’s funeral in a muscle car.

Astros fans had the first championship their city won in two decades invalidated right as the pandemic hit. I think some of their very online fans care more about defending Altuve and Bregman than enjoying wins because they’re still stuck in April 2020. But Phillies fans are just like that.
