I enjoyed this. Really nicely shot, dripping with atmosphere and fantastic lead performance by Nell Tiger Free. Also fun game of spot the GoT alumni. Did want a bit more horror though and spotted the kinda twist coming a mile off.

They purposely prey on the areas that are predominantly white, deprived and vulnerable. People who feel unrepresented and disengaged, and with few opportunities. None of them actually care about the local area or people and will do fuck-all for them. It’s so frustrating.

Watched this recently and was so disappointed. Started so strong then just completely fizzled out. Went no where then just ended. Like they just got bored with their own film. Could have been a really creepy effective thriller/horror but totally wasted.

Meanwood Tavern. Ordered 4 drinks gave us 3. Politely asked for 4th. Argued with us. Consulted their register to check, they were wrong & we got an eye roll. 10 mins later our drink was slammed on the table without a single word. Just no need! Just a “sorry guys, here’s your drink!”
