All the commentary is about whether another Democrat could beat Trump, and none about how any other Republican would now be leading Biden by 50 points.
I don't think any Republican Presidential candidate would be leading any Dem by even 10 points after 4 yrs of Trump. Even Liz Cheney was in favor of Roe being struck down. The Republican party has no credible voices at this point.

Because that’s definitely not true. Trump has completely enthralled the Republican base.
They would see any attempt to replace him as a betrayal and a coup.
I do think any of the other Repubs who primaried Trump could win a general just because Americans are shallow and they're young. But none of them could win a Republican primary against Trump's cult. So they manifestly couldn't beat Biden. The cult really does throw every calculation out the window
