What’s interesting of course is that Biden has in fact used his executive power in unilateral ways, to forgive student debt and require vaccines for federal employees. In both cases. SCOTUS struck it down as an unlawful violation of the separation of powers.

It’s very clear that about 90% of the distinction SCOTUS draws is “if a Republican did it, it’s fine, and if a Dem did it, it’s not”

I'm as appalled by the decision as you are but what it says is that Biden can't be prosecuted for those measures, not that those measures are legal.
