Fascinating look at an almost bygone process. John Buscema and Tom Palmer, both masters at the top of their games, but here's a granular view of the places Tom both improves and falls short over John's (loose by today's insane standards) pencils.

Recontextualizing familiar images (or any images) has value! Especially at the time he was doing it. That said, it would have been cool for him to throw his sources a cut.
