As the world's most destructive invasive species it is wrong for us to make other animals pay for our destruction of their habitat and our warming of the planet. All we do is take other lives, whether by chainsaw or rifle.

Documents released by the agency show a maximum of about 450,000 barred owls would be shot over three decades after the birds from the eastern U.S. encroached into the West Coast territory of two owls: northern spotted owls and California spotted owls. I mean 🤷🏻♂️ facts matter.
