That's why I buy at Costco and do not set foot into a Walmart. I respect and applaud the company that treats their employees fairly and show how much I agree with them by leaving my money with them.

Ich habe vor Jahren eine Pavoni in die USA geschleppt, die irgendwann den Geist aufgab. Und seitdem gibt es den Kaffee wieder aus der Filter-Maschine, ganz ohne Zackelei. 😆 Wobei die P. natürlich rein vom Design her Spitze war - aber "mal eben" ein Kaffee war damit nicht drin.

Das war es ja auch, das gute alte "Aromacenter". Nur heute eben nicht mehr so ganz dem Designgeschmack entsprechend. Es gab im Lauf der letzten Jahrzehnte ohnehin mehr interessante Entwicklungen im Kaffeeautomatenbereich (Abteilung Filterkaffee), als man glauben mag.

I am pretty sure that the Bewick's wrens were more than happy once the nursery underneath our BBQ cart had emptied out. Not because of BBQ-ing (we stopped that), but because of the nasty flight path to get to the screeching brood. 🤣🌱

Seit dem Corona-Ding habe ich nichts mehr angesehen, wo der Typ auftaucht/mitmacht. Himmel, die Welt ist so bunt und schön und voller vernünftiger Menschen, da muss ich mir dieses Kerlchen wirklich nicht antun.

This fountain pen is inspired by the elegant folding screen paintings of Sakai Hōitsu, a painter from the Edo period. The delicate brushwork is precisely recreated using urushi.
