I just started a book by Thomas Whigham titled "the Paraguayan War". So far, I'm blown away. It caused Paraguay's population to drop 70%. I had no idea about this war

I'm currently reading 3 books: The Silver Bone by Andrey Kurkov The Blue Machine by Helen Czerski The Three Ages of Water by Peter Gleick I learned quite a bit from Gleick's and Czerski's books so far
